Fashion design begins with understanding how garments are constructed.
Master Art Studio offers hands-on sewing and fashion design instruction for students ages 11 and up. Students learn proper sewing techniques while developing an understanding of garment construction, design, fit, and how a creative idea becomes a finished piece.
Beginning students learn to use a sewing machine safely and correctly, including machine setup, operation, and basic troubleshooting. As skills develop, students may progress into garment construction, pattern work, alterations, fitting, and individual fashion projects.
Students may use studio machines or bring their own machine and learn to operate it with individual guidance.
Our small class sizes allow for personalized instruction and hands-on technical training.

Fall 2026 Sewing & Fashion
Sewing & Fashion — Ages 11+
Saturdays, 1:30–3:30 PM
The Fall program is offered in two 7-week specialty series.
Series I: September 12–October 24
Series II: November 7–December 19
Students may develop sewing and fashion skills through structured projects appropriate to their experience level.
