Sadly the global spread of COVID-19 has reached our state and nearby towns and is affecting every one of us. While scientists and governments all over the world are trying to combat the spread of the virus and stop the pandemic, we follow the belief quoted by Fyodor Dostoevsky– “Beauty will save the world”. Below is the summary of happy plans we have for you.
Classes are Live Online! 
In this stressful time Master Art Studio is working hard to ensure that you and your children’s schedule is uninterrupted and remains as normal and routine for you as possible by utilizing technology. You may be away from the studio, but your community is right here. We miss you all!
Initially we were not sure how to make the online format more productive, but we adapted fast, still learning new exciting features of distance teaching and coming up with more and more creative ideas for you every day. Our teachers did a great job embracing what was forced on all of us.
While we miss seeing our students in person, online classes give us flexibility on makeups and an opportunity to teach class in a Master Class format, where students follow our professional teacher’s demos. Throughout the process the teacher makes comments individually to each and every student and explains how to solve problems if they occur. We figured out how to do this online just like it was in our physical class! Every class has an online ‘live” meeting format with classmates and teachers.
We are having fun with this new technology by creating virtual backgrounds. Student’s productivity increased since students are able to complete a lot of work during online classes without the distractions of a live class.
We are happy to report that 95% of our Winter session students adapted beautifully to our new art classroom delivery via Zoom platform and have been enjoying our virtual classes without interruptions for three weeks, since we launched Zoom classes on 3/11. We are so proud of all of you! And we want to update you about the ways in which we are doing our part.
Spring 2020 Enrollment!
All classes will continue online on the same schedule until social distancing will be lifted, so please text us or email us to let us know that you want to join! In return we will do the following for you and our community…Art Portfolio LABTM Students will receive a separate email with details.

Take $25 off your Spring tuition and instead donate to the “FEED THE FRONTLINES INITIATIVE” through the Ridgewood Chamber of Commerce and Village Hall and RPNJ Covid-19 Donation Fund.Your donation is tax deductible and will help support our local healthcare frontline workers who are at the highest risk for Covid-19. Just tell us you made a donation and receive your tuition discount.

New Program Launching Next week
Art Online LABTM!
This brand NEW online-only program is an online addition to our regular local classes. It will stay online, even after the social distancing protocol will be lifted nationwide.
For all students who will support our staff and sign up for the Spring 2020 session we are offering:
- FREE First class at the Art Online LABTM
- 20% OFF the regular $25 1-hour class on your classes at the Art Online LABTM for one whole year April, 2020 through April, 2021
The Art Online LABTM agenda is to learn art via online platform, have fun with art and get creative. It will be open for students of all ages: children through adults, with and without prior art education. Students will be learning techniques in:
- Fine Art: how to draw, paint, sculpt, create cartoon characters and be creative, utilizing a variety of media
- Digital Art: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Procreate on iPad pro.
These classes will be from 1 to 2 hours long, packed with information and demonstration. Students will have limited individual interaction with the teacher as opposed to our academic program. But the artwork will be chosen based on your popular requests and interests.
